Bryn Road – Weymouth

This project involved some extensive work and started with removing the render from the upper half of the building and also removed and replaced all failed wall ties.

We then extended the wall to a Gable before the whole upper half of the building was clad in Cedral Board. The SBL team then built a new roof including a dormer which included two new white PVC-u windows and again this was clad in Cedral board.

The dormer was finished with a GRP roof and White PVC-u Fascia, Soffit and Guttering. To finish the external transformation we also constructed an open porch.

Internally we installed a staircase to gain access to the converted loft and new timber fire doors throughout the property to comply with Building Regulations. The new conversion was split into three spaces a Bedroom, an Ensuite and an Eaves storage area. All of these areas were insulated and plastered, with Electrical connections for lighting and power using our own employed electricians, we also plumbed the ensuite with a bath, toilet and Basin again with our employed plumbers. The ensuite was tiled and a vinyl laminate floor was laid.
